Urban Resurrection (URCDC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit community development corporation formed to address the financial, social and spiritual ills that plague urban communities in Central Ohio. The purpose of the CDC is to expand the work of the faith community into the community at large by providing for the needs of human beings as outlined in scripture, particularly the Gospel of St. Matthew 25:35-40.

We endeavor to:

 

Provide - for the immediate needs of our fellow human beings.

 

Empower - them with necessary education, skills, and resources to provide for their own needs.

 

Elevate - them from a position of dependence to a life of self- sufficiency.

 

Motivate - them to in-return, reach back and assist others in their community to achieve the same.​

Employees, volunteers and interns at URCDC have a responsibility to:

• Offer customer the freedom to choose whether to enter into service programs, and an explanation of any restrictions that limit choices.
